Cyprus

Nestled in the eastern Mediterranean, the small island of Cyprus is big in terms of history and natural splendour. During our four-day journey through the southern coast of the island, we managed to explore the archaeological site at Kourion, soak in the sun on beaches near Paphos, and get a glimpse into its troubled past at Larnaca and Aiya Napa. It offered us a warm respite from the bitter cold winds of winter in Europe, both literally and metaphorically through its warm hospitality, culinary delights, and geographical diversity.
