Lech, located in the heart of the Austrian alps, is a popular winter-sports destination. Surprisingly, however, summers in Lech are equally wonderful, with the added benefit of fewer tourists. The lush, green valleys are a striking contrast to the winter snows, and the air is crisp and invigorating. Scenic gondola rides lead to hiking trails that crisscross the landscape, leading to breathtaking views of alpine meadows and lakes – in short, a perfect blend of adventure and tranquillity.
